Capesizes led the charge with spot rates rising to almost $20,000/day in late March – more than five times their levels of just a few weeks earlier, although they have since fallen to $15,000/day. Meanwhile panamax rates have risen above $11,000/day for the first time this year, having averaged $7.500/day during February. Handysizes are now over $8,000/day, up almost 50% since February.

Harleigh joined Palladian Publications in April 2015 as an Editorial Assistant for World Coal and World Cement magazines. In 2016, she helped launch two new magazines: Dry Bulk and World Fertilizer. She is now the Editor of World Coal and Dry Bulk.
Harleigh graduated from Cardiff University with a first class BA (Hons) in English Language and Communication. While in Cardiff, she completed British Sign Language level 1, 2 and 3, and is currently completing level 4.
